Each of workshops are part instruction and part cooking class. Students will participate in activities to help them make the changes they need and go home with tools that can help implement those changes. They will also be able to cook and eat all items made during the class. Some classes will have special guest speakers to help provide further instruction.

About The Workshop
We all know and love them. The crunchy, salty, sweet treats that we cannot live without. We are talking about carbohydrates (carbs) of course. People are often shocked to find out that not all carbs are bad for you. In this class, Carbs: The Good, Bad and The Ugly, we will talk about all the different types of carbohydrates, good, bad, etc. A tip that we will talk about in this workshop is that people need carbs as an energy source. Accompanied by this workshop, we will have a cooking class where you will be making food that has good carbs in them. If I get to know that I still can eat carbs that are good for me, I am so there.
About The Cooking Class
This class offer a unique opportunity to acquire knowledge about the link between what you eat and how you feel, experience the benefits of nutrition, and learn the practical cooking skills needed to help you on your journey to better health. In this class, attendees do all of this while cooking and tasting delicious, healthful dishes.
