Long Grain Brown Rice

Wild Rice or Wehani

Water

Dried Goji Berries

Pecans chopped an roasted

Fresh Herbs we suggest rosemary and thyme

1 Pinch Sea Salt

Fresh Parsley chopped for garnish

Directions:

  1. Heat olive oil in medium pot over medium heat, lightly sauté the leeks, carrots, and celery. Add the rice, herbs, and salt and stir to combine.
  2. Add the water and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce to a simmer for 30 minutes until rice is tender.
  3. When rice is done, add goji berries and walnuts, fluff, and serve with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
  4. Serve.
