What type of programs do you offer?

We offer a wide variety of services from One-on-One Programs to Group Programs and Learn-On-Your-Own Programs. We also offer Classes and Workshops to help you expand your knowledge and make changes that count. We also are available to speak at your organization. We are often found speaking at community events, at local schools and corporations. We are so passionate about there is strengths in numbers that we offer a ton of free events as well; such as the Healthy Living Group to provide a support system, Team Eat 2 Be Healthy to help us stay focused on the exercise front, and The E2BH Book Club to help us expand our mind. And don’t forget our Wanna Know Wednesdays where we do a live webinar each week to answer your questions about health, nutrition, and just about everything else.

What is the difference between a group program, a 1-on-1 program, and a workshop?

A 1-on-1 program is where is you and your coach work together to reach your goals and change your life. You receive 1-on-1 time with your coach throughout the program. Group programs consist of groups of 2-20 people (depending on the program) that work for a specific time period on specific goals. It is similar to the 1-on-1 coaching but with the support of a group and limited 1-on-1 time with the coach. Group programs are often a more cost effective option than the one-on-one personal coaching. A workshop is a class about a specific topic. We often put on workshops and classes on various topics to help people in our community who want information to help them on their journey but who don’t want the commitment of a one-on-one program or a group program. These  are the least expensive option. Our group members and one-on-one clients often attend the workshop in addition to their programs to help them learn even more and take their health to the next level.

What is health coaching?

Health coaching is a partnership. When you work with a health coach, you partner with them in a thought-provoking and creative process. They help you find inspiration and maximize your potential. Living a healthy life opens up doors that you didn’t even know were there. Coaches can help you ask the right questions so you find your own solutions to the challenges you face. Who is eligible for coaching?

Coaching is available for anyone and everyone. We offer services for adults and high school students, age 13-19, anywhere in the United States. If you’re 15 or younger, you’ll need to get your parents’ permission to participate; contact us for a parental permission form, and we’ll email it to you. Each coach specializes in a specific niche. If we do not specialize in the area of your need, we will try to help find you a coach that can help you. If you are out of the United States, we can help place you with a coach near you.

Is my coach a therapist?

We are not therapists. Eat 2 Be Healthy Health & Wellness Coaches are certified with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). Some of our coaches have certifications, degrees and training beyond the AADP in areas of their specialty.

How do I meet with my coach?

In most cases, you will meet with your coach at an office, your home, or a public place. If you are a student, you can meet your coach at your school or recreation center after school hours. In cases where meeting in person is not possible, you may arrange to have your coaching sessions by phone, email or through video chat.How do I meet with my coach?

Is health coaching legit? Are you part of a pyramid scheme?

There are a few health companies out there that call their product distributors “health coaches”. This can be confusing for many consumers. This is not us and we don’t advocate one specific set of products. We are not involved in any ponzie scheme, a pyramid scheme, or MLM business. We provide a service. Part of that service does make recommendations for various products and services, but we do not profit off of any of those product sales nor do we have any affiliation with them. We are trained health coaches that believe in a holistic approach and encourage eating a whole food mostly plant-based diet (not Whole Foods the store).  Here are what a few experts say about health coaches.

How are you different from a nutritionist or other provider?

We encourage everyone to take an active role in their health. Whether they choose a health coach, a nutritionist/dietitian, a physical trainer, a doctor, or a therapist depends on their needs. Nutritionists usually give you the list of foods to eat or not to eat and how much of it. Most people already know this.  Many therapists do not provide a specific end to their programs, and there is no linking of mood and diet.  Doctors usually do not work on the root cause of the symptom, but instead decide how to fix it (usually with a pill or surgery). Doctors are usually not adequately trained in nutrition. Health coaches/counselors have a lot to offer their clients because they are often trained in a wider range of topics such as nutrition, stress, sleep, relationships, environment etc. Health coaches get to the root of the problem, and provide the HOW and WHEN. Most health coaches work under the thought process that your health is much bigger than what you put in your mouth. They work with you to change your lifestyle. They provide support and hold you accountable.

What type of personality works best for your programs?

The Eat 2 Be Healthy workshops and programs were created for people who are absolutely excited and deadly serious about getting healthy and are committed to clearing the blocks that are standing in their way. They were created for you to put systems in place as soon as your first meeting. Consider what you’ll do with us to be an action learning course. You will be expected to take serious and consistent action. No excuses anymore, just a very different way of thinking and full support while you achieve your incredibly exciting goals.

Each coach/counselor has a specific niche. Some will work with clients outside that niche at times, others stick to their specialties. We are part of a large community of coaches with a wide range of different talents. If we do not specialize in what your specific need is, we will help find a coach that we trust to refer you to.

For what type of people are your programs NOT going to work?

Please know we are very selective in who we work with, choosing to gently turn away people who aren’t suited for our programs and won’t get the results for which they would have signed up for. It wouldn’t be fair to them. We care about our clients and we want them to learn to be the best THEM that only THEY can be. Not everybody is ready to make the commitment to themselves to change and that’s ok. Come back when you are ready. We’ll be here!

Another type of person we won’t work with (without exception) is the complainer, whiner, the chronic skeptic, and individuals who consistently make excuses for not getting their assignments done or challenging every aspect of the program. If you are one of these people, we gently and respectfully ask that you not call and we hope you understand why. We’ll probably just not work well together and we wouldn’t want you to waste your time or money. Is that fair?

How quickly can I expect results?

Obviously, this depends on what your current health situation is and how much you put into the assignments that we give you. That said, virtually all clients see results within the first couple of weeks, if not the first couple of days.

How can I guarantee myself that I will get the best results?

Do all of your assignments, read and watch the materials that we recommend. Be totally focused on taking care of yourself. Understand that it’s not a “quick fix,” it’s not magic and it takes up to a year for you to plant all the seeds and for those seeds to grow into the fruit that you can enjoy. All my clients who have diligently applied every step of our programs have successfully met their goals and then some, in much less time than they would have on their own AND feel much better than they ever thought they could.

Can I contact some of your former clients to see what it’s like to work with you?

Yes, we encourage you to! Please go to the Client Testimonials page and read all of them. See which ones you feel drawn to, either because the person has gotten the results you want to get too, or perhaps because that person is in a similar profession. Then feel free to email or call us and ask for their contact information. They are happy to tell you what they got from working with us and our programs.

How much does coaching cost?

Your first session with a coach is free.  This session will help you figure out if coaching is right for you. Pricing depends on the type of program you choose. Group coaching and 1-on-1 coaching pricing ranges from $125 a session to $250 a session depending on the type of program. Workshops and classes usually cost between $50 to $250 per class, depending on the type of class. For pricing, please email us.

Do you offer a Money-Back Guarantee?

Yes. Before a group or individual program – All program participants have the option to opt-out after the first call/session. No explanation needed or strings attached. Simply send an email within 24 hours after the first call/session and request to be released from the program. After a group or individual program has started – If Client is not completely satisfied with the program, coach guarantees a 100% refund, minus the costs of any previous sessions, materials that have been provided and a $50 cancellation fee. Client must show completion of all work, attendance at all sessions, and proof of implementation of coach’s recommendations.
